Jack Fields Library Celebrates The First Thanksgiving!

Peggy Kollister hosts a Plymouth Village and First Thanksgiving Museum in the Jack Fields Elementary Library!

All Jack Fields Elementary students came through the library to see and learn, and they even took time to review museum etiquette...look but don't touch. Librarian, Peggy Kollister told them the story from the news about a boy who tripped and fell into a painting in a museum, putting a hole in it! It was worth a million dollars.

It took a week to research and make the displays and a week to "tour" through the Thanksgiving Museum Display with children. How Awesome!  The Computer lab and music teachers collaborated lessons to complete the week.

Such an impressive and creative Learning Experience.
Thank you for all you do Peggy!

First Grade Created This!  WOW!
Third graders made a Plymouth village and learned it's a real place in Massachusetts that you can visit today to see how the Pilgrims lived.
