Dolores Summers @ Woodcreek Middle School

Really enjoyed my visit to Woodcreek
iPad Search Stations
Dolores has 2 at Woodcreek
Middle School today! Dolores has a warm and
inviting Library.  Her circulation protocol
is amazing.  The students love her and are so
well trained on library procedures!
Thank you for hosting Joanne Sweeney while
she is completing her Middle School Library
Practicum.

Great Collaboration with Theater Teacher

Joanne Sweeney:  Student Teacher Librarian

Read Box at Pine Forest Elementary

Brooke   King created a  "Readbox"
based on Kelly McClain's  idea that she shared at the District Elementary Librarian Affinity Meeting .

"The kids are so excited, and they are talking about books and recommending books to each other.
                                      It's a librarian's dream!"  emphasized Brooke.

  Great Job, Brooke and Kelly!

Amazing Play at Jack Fields Elementary School

Peggy Kollister
At Jack Fields Elementary Library

Kudos to Peggy Kollister for empowering her students to
orchestrate, practice and perform a
play about the life of Roberto Clemente.
I am amazed that she had the time to accomplish this feat!

The play was based on a book that the students read and then performed on
stage for their classmates and family members called:

We'll Never Forget You Roberto Clemente.

It was a moving rags to riches story and brought tears to my eyes.
Great job Peggy!
