Librarians Earn Almost $22,000 in Humble Education Foundation Grants!

Timbers Elementary Library enhances Literature through a STEM/VR field trip!
Melanie Sowa, Library Media Specialist at Timbers Elementary Library enhances Literature through STEM activities.
First graders viewed and listened to We Are All Wonders on the Cleartouch interactive TV with Novel Effect Sound effects then extended their learning with a Virtual Reality field trip to the Solar System with Google Expeditions and Nasa.gov.
First Graders listened to We Are All Wonders by R. J. Palacio enhanced with Novel Effect sound effects and then explored The Solar system with Google Expedition VR.
Melanie Sowa created these Genre Displays with the 3D printer in the Timbers Library.
